Character dining in the Magic Kingdom

Crystal Palace

Meals offered: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Price: $25 – $50 for adults and $15 – $30 for children
Characters: Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger
Reservations required: Yes! This is one of the most popular characters dining experiences on property.

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Meals offered: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Meal type: Table service. You choose between 6 – 8 entrees, depending on the meal. Non-alcoholic drinks are included.
Price: $57.00 – $70.00 for adults and $35 – $45 for kids.
Characters: An ever-changing combination of princesses that may include Ariel, Aurora, Cinderella, Snow White, and/or Jasmine.
Reservations required: This is an extremely popular experience. You should make these reservations the first day they open up – 180 days before your trip.

Be Our Guest

Meals offered: Though Be Our Guest is open for lunch and dinner, dinner is the only meal where characters appear.
Meal type: French food
Price: $15 – 20 per entree.
Characters: The Beast.
Reservations required: Yes. We suggest making reservations in advance. The earliest you may make a reservation is 180 days and if you want to attend this character breakfast you need to plan early.

Garden Grill, Walt Disney World

Meals offered: Dinner.
Meal type: Family style, all-you-can-eat.
Price: $37.97 – 44.72 for adults and $19.10 – 21.29 for children. Tax is included but gratuity is not.
Characters: Chip, Dale, Farmer Mickey Mouse, and Pluto.
Reservations required: Reservations are suggested but are not as difficult to get as some other character dining experiences.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Meals offered: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Meal type: Start off with a buffet that includes a unique sampling of Norwegian food and then enjoy your choice of entrees from the menu.
Price: $39 – $55 for adults and $24 – $34 for children.
Characters: You can count on at least two characters at each meal. Common options include Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Mary Poppins.
Reservations required: Yes.

Hollywood Studios

Hollywood and Vine

Meals offered: Breakfast and lunch.
Meal type: Buffet.
Price: Breakfast: $35 for adults and $21 for children; Dinner: $50 for adults and $25 for children.
Characters: Your favorite Disney Junior characters including Jake (from Jake and the Neverland Pirates), Handy Manny, Doc McStuffins, and Sofia the First.
Reservations required: Recommended but not always necessary.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Tusker House

Meals offered: Breakfast and lunch. Note that dinner reservations are also available but no characters appear at dinner.
Meal type: Buffet with a focus on African cuisine, though there are American comfort foods that appeal to kids, too.
Price:$30 – $45 for adults and $25 for kids.
Characters: At a minimum you’ll meet Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, Goofy and Mickey Mouse – all dressed up in their safari gear! Be sure to take your time so you don’t miss the hourly conga line with Goofy.

Character dining at nearby resorts

1900 Park Fare

Meals offered: Breakfast and dinner.
Meal type: Buffet.
Location: Grand Floridian
Price: $38.33 – 44.50 for adults and $19.16 – 21.29 for children. Tax is included but gratuity is not.
Characters: Breakfast: Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter and friends; Dinner: Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, and Anastasia and Drisella.
Reservations required: Depending on the time of year, this can be one of the easier character meals to get into. However, reservations are still recommended.

‘Ohana

Meals offered: Breakfast. Note that lunch and dinner reservations are available but they are not character dining experiences.
Meal type: Buffet with classic American foods.
Location: The Polynesian resort.
Price: $22.36 – 26.62 for adults and $12.77 – 14.90 for children.
Characters: Lilo, Stitch, Mickey Mouse and Pluto
Reservations required:Yes. Because there is only one character meal here each day, spots fill up quickly so call early.

Chef Mickey’s

Meals offered: Breakfast and dinner.
Meal type: Buffet including sundae bar.
Location: The Contemporary Resort.
Price: $33.01 – $50 for adults and $18.10 – $27 for kids.
Characters: Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald Duck
Reservations required: Yes. Both breakfast and dinner are extremely popular.

Mickey’s Backyard BBQ

Meals offered: Dinner
Meal type: Interactive dinner show.
Location: Disney’s Ft. Wilderness.
Price: $56.99 for adults and $32.99 for children. Price includes beer and wine for adults.
Characters: Chip, Dale, Goofy, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
Reservations required: Yes. This special character event doesn’t take place in January or February, and is only on Thursdays and Saturdays the rest of the year.

Cape May Cafe

Meals offered: Breakfast
Meal type: Buffet.
Location: Beach Club Resort.
Price: $26.62 – 30.88 for adults and $13.84 – 17.03 for kids.
Characters: Donald Duck, Goofy and Minnie Mouse.
Reservations required: No. This is the easiest character dining experience to get into, thanks to the out of the way location and the fact that it’s relatively expensive. However, if you need a last minute reservation, this is the one to make.

Trattoria al Forno

Meals offered: Breakfast
Meal type: Casual Dining.
Location:  Disney’s BoardWalk.
Price: $15 – $59 for adults
Characters: Ariel, Prince Eric, Rapunzel, Flynn Rider
Reservations required: Yes.

Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White

Meals offered: Dinner
Meal type:  prix fixe menu
Location:  Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Price: $15 – $59 for adults
Characters:  Meet Snow White, Dopey and Grumpy
Reservations required: Yes.

Garden Grove

Meals offered: Dinner
Meal type:  Buffet/Family Style
Location:  Walt Disney World Swan Hotel
Price: $15 – $59 for adults
Characters:  Meet Mickey and Friends
Reservations required: Yes.
