Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebrations Solo Plan / Goals

Last Updated on October 14, 2021

Travelling from Canada for the 50th Anniversary Celebration is likely to be a lot of fun, but its gonna be different.

It’s an exciting time to be returning to Walt Disney World Resort, my last trip on Disney’s Magical Express is booked. And I have all my COVID-19 tests booked.

I have also been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 since June 2021, so I can’t be more ready to travel for the first time since the pandemic started. COVID-19 was declared a global pandemic just 3 days after returning from my last trip to WDW.

Annual Passholder – First World Problems

With all that I also will be travelling solo because of work commitments, which while cool, has a very different tone to it and as a Canadian Annual Passholder, it just makes sense to get down to the park well everything is in order, getting in enough days to make AP worth it is also in the back of my mind.

Gonna see about getting those sweet-looking new Annual Passholder magnets as well.

Disney Theme Park Goals

Just getting through the current procedures for travelling abroad, is a Disney theme park goal for me. After a hopefully successful travel plan is executed I will find myself at the resort picking up my 50th Anniversary MagicBand and the celebrating can begin.

I currently have Disney Park Passes in this order over 5 days:

  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom
  • EPCOT
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios
  • Magic Kingdom Park
  • EPCOT (again)

50th Anniversary Goals

With all the details of the 50th Anniversary, some of my topmost sees include the Fab 50 Statues through WDW, the new entrance at EPCOT with its fountain and the lights added to Spaceship Earth. While not possible to miss, I am also looking forward to seeing the Cinderella Castle Royal Makeover.

Dining Goals

Liberty Tree Tavern

Biergarten Buffet

La Crêperie de Paris

Having been a Walt Disney World newbie I never visited the original Club Cool, now is the time to correct that mistake with a visit to the newly reopened Club Cool, in EPCOT.
