Mears Connect is set to provide direct service to Disney area hotels. Starting January 1, 2022. Mears connect replaces the beloved Disney’s Magical Express Service which previously provided seamless bus transportation to the Walt Disney World Resorts. Mears Connect replaces this with a Standard and Premium offering.
As previously announced this new paid transportation service between the Orlando International Airport (MCO) and the Walt Disney World Resort: Reservations are required for Mears Connect and are available now. The service will begin on 1st January 2022.

How Does it Work?
There are 2 options available for service between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and the Walt Disney World Resort Standard or Premium. According to Mears, both services will meet your needs for wheelchair accessibility.
Mears Connect Standard Service
This is not public transport it is a paid shared-ride service provided by Mears Connect (bus or van). Standard Service operates very similarly to what has been provided by Disney’s Magical Express, these motorcoaches serve all the Walt Disney World Resort hotels and the list of hotels and resorts will continue to grow.
The shuttle (bus or van) will make a limited number of stops along the way. You will be on your way from MCO within 20 minutes after check-in at the Mears Connect reception area.
Return service from Disney will depart up to 3 hours in advance for domestic flights and 4 hours for international flights. Confirmation by email with the exact time of your departure will be sent to you 24 hours in advance.
Mears Connect Premium Service
This is an express-level service and is direct with limited to no wait time.
