Free Dining Recovery Deal for Disney World • Mouse Travel Matters

Free Dining is once again available at Walt Disney World, but there’s a catch: it’s as a summer recovery vacation package for guests who have had to cancel their trips during the months of March, April, or May 2020.

Here are the official details on the Walt Disney World summer recovery dine package, from the “Resort Rooms & Packages” section of the DisneyWorld.com travel advisory page:

Eligible Guests can take advantage of a vacation package offer that includes accommodations at a select Disney Resort hotel, park admission and a Disney dining plan – valid for arrivals most nights June 1 through September 30, 2020 when you book through May 31, 2020.

This offer is valid only for Guests who booked a vacation package or room reservation to stay at a Disney Resort hotel from March 16 through May 31, 2020 (even if the park opens before then). Offer not valid for reservations cancelled before March 1, 2020. View additional offer details here.

This offer is valid only for guests who previously booked a vacation package or room reservation to stay at a Disney Resort hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort for travel dates March 16 to May 31, 2020. This offer not valid for reservations traveling these dates that were canceled before March 1, 2020.

Again, we cannot emphasize enough that this Free Dining deal is only available to guests who have had their trips canceled by Disney, or proactively canceled. New bookings are not eligible at this time. There are no exceptions to that.

Guests receive the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan with stays at a select Disney Value Resort or select Disney Moderate Resort. With this plan, everyone in your party ages 3 and over receives the following:

Two (2) Quick-Service Meals (per night of stay)
Two (2) Snacks / Nonalcoholic Drinks (per night of stay)
One (1) Resort-Refillable Drink Mug*

Guests receive the Disney Dining Plan with stays at a select Disney Deluxe Resort or select Disney Deluxe Villa Resort. With this plan, everyone in your party ages 3 and over receives the following:

One (1) Quick-Service Meal (per night of stay)
One (1) Table-Service Meal (per night of stay)
Two (2) Snacks / Nonalcoholic Drinks (per night of stay)
One (1) Resort-Refillable Drink Mug*

Important Details

Cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion.
Advance reservation required.
Length of stay is 2 nights-14 nights
Ticket requirements: 2-day minimum; all ticket types included (i.e., Base, Park Hopper, Water Park & Sports, Park Hopper Plus
Offer excludes the following room types: campsites
Children ages 3 to 9 must choose from the children’s menu, if available.
Gratuities are not included.
Theme park admission is required for some dining locations.
