Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run Height Requirement

Height requirement info has arrived for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at
Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

According to wdwnt there well be a minimum 40-inch height requirement for the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction when it opens later this year in Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Due to the ride reportedly ending with a “swift drop”, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will have a minimum height requirement when Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens later this year at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Despite being in a trackless ride vehicle, guests will experience a drop towards the end of the attraction. The drop will reportedly simulate an escape pod blasting off, taking guests in their transports swiftly back down to the planet Batuu. 

40 inches isn’t that bad, though it does eliminate some of the park’s smallest guests.  Some other attractions in Walt Disney with a 40-inch minimum height include: Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Soarin’ and Test Track.

Additionally, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, guests must be 38″ or taller to ride.
