Mask-Free Relaxation Stations at Walt Disney World • Mouse Travel Matters

Masks are an important piece to keeping both guests and Cast Members safe. Other than when guests are seated in restaurants, Disney World’s “relaxation stations” are currently the only spots where guests can remove their face coverings while inside the theme parks. Let’s take a look at where you can find these mask-free spots.

Where Can I Find The Relaxation Stations At Walt Disney World?

One of the new Health & Safety measures that Disney implemented during its reopening was the wearing of face masks at the theme parks, Disney Springs, and at resort common areas!

As part of the new Walt Disney World experience, all four Walt Disney World guide maps have been updated to reflect the many changes taking place at the theme parks. In the new maps, you’ll see the standard COVID-19 warning that is present around the parks, relaxation stations where guests can take off their face masks, some of the modified offerings, and more.

Are Relaxation Stations The Only Place You Can Remove Your Mask?

In short, yes. Other than actively eating or drinking, relaxation stations are the only place that guests can remove their masks, even if there isn’t anyone around them.

Capacity is also controlled by Cast Members stationed at the front so these spaces won’t be overcrowded. Disney may ask that visitors limit their time at the Relaxation Station to 30 minutes

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom has three relaxation stations located throughout the park.

Adventureland

This relaxation station is located between Adventureland and Frontierland next to A Pirates Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas and Golden Oak Outpost. The restaurant will remain closed for the time being so its seating area can be used as a relaxation station instead.

Tomorrowland

On the other side of the park, Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant is also being used as a relaxation station while the dining location itself remains closed.

Fantasyland

Let’s not forget about Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Storybook Circus where character greetings used to occur before the closures.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom provides guests with two relaxation stations.

Discovery Island

The closest relaxation station to the entrance can be found at the dining location Pizzafari.

Asia

Across from UP! A GREAT BIRD ADVENTURE, this location is called Upcountry Landing and overlooks the waterways. This is where you can catch a glimpse of the character cavalcade on the water.
